Stage Programme
Yorkshire-based UK artist of pop culture and niche things. Painter, muralist, illustrator, Sean’s work pulls from the visual language of film, sci-fi and the cultural icons that shaped a generation, rendered in bold, striking detail that commands a wall.
With 100+ works posted and a dedicated following built entirely through his craft, Sean continues to grow his exhibition presence — bringing the work off the screen and into the room.
First Exhibition: Picturehouse, City Screen, York, UK — 30th July to 2nd September 2023.
To mark the 60th Anniversary of 'The Good, The Bad and They Ugly' (1966) South West Silents invited Sean R Taylor Art to support with a special weekend celebration of the work of Sergio Leone (1929-1989). This Sergio Leone Weekend took place at the Bristol Megascreen (Bristol’s biggest and loudest cinema) on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th April 2026. Sean's love of these films came from his Dad who sadly passed away in 2025 so this was a deeply personal and rewarding endeavour.
This was the first public exhibition of Sean's work showcasing his early portfolio. This exhibition followed his journey from his early interests in Surrealist landscapes through to his now recognisable subject matter in film, music and popular culture. It featured his explorations in various mediums and styles.
